South Carolina High School Softball - Gilbert nudges Darlington
May 8, 2023: Darlington, SC 29532 Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Darlington Falcons (Darlington, SC), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 15-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Loris for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 10. Gilbert will battle a Lions squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Gilbert (Gilbert, SC). The Lions record now stands at 22-5.
With the loss, Darlington falls to 9-13 on the campaign.
