The crowd at Monday's league match between the New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) and the visiting Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT), saw New Milford's softball squad nip Pomperaug by a count of 9-3.

The Green Wave now sport a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newtown for a Southwest - Colonial match on Wednesday, May 10.
