Spectators at Monday's league match between the Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH) and the visiting Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH), witnessed Western Reserve's softball squad tip Springfield by a count of 6-5.

The Blue Devils now sport a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to McDonald for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet match on Thursday, May 11. Western Reserve will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Cardinal (Middlefield, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 11-2.
