In Wednesday's league challenge, the Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles (Lake Station, IN) baseball squad edged the visiting River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN), by a final score of 5-4.

With the win, Lake Station Edison upgrades its record to 4-9 on the season. The Fighting Eagles host South Central (Union Mills, IN) to battle the Satellites in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 8. The Satellites come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. South Central lost 9-0 in their recent league challenge against Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN)

With the defeat, River Forest falls to 11-7 on the season. The Ingots host Lake Station Edison (Lake Station, IN) to battle the Fighting Eagles in a Greater Southshore challenge on Friday, May 10. The Fighting Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-9.
