May 8, 2024: Hillside, NJ 07205 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Linden Tigers (Linden, NJ) and the host Hillside Comets (Hillside, NJ), saw Linden's volleyball squad beat Hillside by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Linden upgrades its record to 6-10 on the year. The Tigers host Millburn (Millburn, NJ) to play the Millers in a non-league bout on Thursday, May 9. The Millers go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Millburn won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NJ)
The Comets now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Westfield for a UCC - Mountain bout on Monday, May 13. Hillside will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Fair Lawn (Fair Lawn, NJ). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-9.
