Virginia High School Soccer - Fauquier nudges Meridian
May 8, 2024: Falls Church, VA 22043 Fauquier Falcons (Warrenton, VA) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA), 3-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Falcons confront the Manassas Park Cougars (Manassas Park, VA) in a Northwestern challenge, on Thursday, May 16. Fauquier will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record.
The Mustangs now possess a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manassas Park for a Northwestern challenge on Tuesday, May 14. Meridian will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Handley (Winchester, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-4.
