New York High School Softball - East bounces Monroe
May 8, 2024: Rochester, NY 14609 The East Eagles (Rochester, NY) softball routed the visiting Monroe Red Jackets (Rochester, NY), 26-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Eagles (3-6) will now prepare for their bout against Franklin (Rochester, NY). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 7-2 record. In their last bout, Franklin defeated Monroe (Rochester, NY), 20-4, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, Monroe falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Red jackets host East (Rochester, NY) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 14. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. East lost 20-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Franklin (Rochester, NY)
