Ohio High School Softball - Minford bounces Eastern
May 8, 2024: Sardinia, OH 45171 Minford Falcons (Minford, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Eastern Warriors (Sardinia, OH), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Falcons now own a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Webster for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 9. Minford will face a Jeeps squad coming off a 8-4 non-league win over Russell (Russell, KY). The Jeeps record now stands at 15-3.
With the loss, Eastern falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Fayetteville-Perry (Fayetteville, OH) to face the Rockets in a Southern Hills Athletic challenge on Friday, May 10. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 14-5. Fayetteville-Perry won 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Georgetown (Georgetown, OH)
