In Wednesday's league contest, the Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA) softball team overwhelmed the host Giles Spartans (Pearisburg, VA), by a margin of 12-4.

With the triumph, Grayson County moves its record to 4-12 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA) to play the Pioneers in a Mountain Empire contest on Thursday, May 9.
