May 8, 2025: Sterling, VA 20164 The Broad Run Spartans baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Park View Patriots to 0 in the Spartans non-league win on Thursday.
The Spartans now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tuscarora for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. Broad Run will play a Huskies team coming off a 15-1 league win over Rock Ridge (Ashburn, VA). The Huskies record now stands at 7-10.
With the defeat, Park View drops to 0-11 on the year. The Patriots host Loudoun County (Leesburg, VA) to play the Captains in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 13. The Captains go into the test with a record of 4-6. Loudoun County lost 10-2 in their recent league test against John Champe (Aldie, VA)
