New York High School Baseball - La Salle Institute defeats Broadalbin-Perth
May 8, 2025: Broadalbin, NY 12025 The La Salle Institute Cadets baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Broadalbin-Perth Patriots to 5 in the Cadets non-league win on Thursday.
The Cadets now hold a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saratoga Springs for a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. La Salle Institute will play a Blue Streaks team coming off a 7-1 league win over Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 9-6.
With the defeat, Broadalbin-Perth drops to 6-8 on the year. The Patriots host Schuylerville (Schuylerville, NY) to play the Horses in a Section 2 Foothills test on Monday, May 12. The Horses go into the test with a record of 10-5. Schuylerville lost 6-5 in their recent league test against Glens Falls (Glens Falls, NY)
