The Muncie Central Bearcats baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Cowan Blackhawks to 5 in the Bearcats non-league win on Thursday.

The Bearcats now own a 4-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Vernon for a non-league test on Friday, May 9. Muncie Central will clash with a Marauders team coming off a 4-0 league win over New Castle (New Castle, IN). The Marauders record now stands at 8-5.

With the defeat, Cowan drops to 8-6 on the year. The Blackhawks travel to Eastbrook (Marion, IN) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, May 10. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 11-7. Eastbrook won 11-1 in their recent league test against Elwood (Elwood, IN)
