New York High School Baseball - Hauppauge wallops Northport
May 8, 2025: Hauppauge, NY 11788 The Hauppauge Eagles baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Northport Tigers to 0 in the Eagles non-league win on Thursday.
The Eagles now hold a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Eastport-South Manor for a Section 11 AA-5 test on Monday, May 12. Hauppauge will play a Sharks team coming off a 4-0 league win over Westhampton Beach (Westhampton Beach, NY). The Sharks record now stands at 10-0.
With the defeat, Northport drops to 10-7 on the year. The Tigers host Newfield (Selden, NY) to play the Wolverines in a Section 11 AA-3 test on Tuesday, May 13. The Wolverines go into the test with a record of 8-7.
