The Head-Royce Jayhawks (Oakland, CA) baseball trounced the host Redwood Christian Eagles (San Lorenzo, CA), 11-2 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Jayhawks now own a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Joseph Notre Dame for a Bay Counties - East challenge on Tuesday, May 13. Head-Royce will clash with a Pilots team coming off a 8-7 league loss to Athenian (Danville, CA). The Pilots record now stands at 12-10.

With the defeat, Redwood Christian drops to 7-11 on the year. The Eagles travel to College Prep (Oakland, CA) to clash with the Cougars in a Bay Counties - East challenge on Tuesday, May 13. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 5-10. College Prep lost 13-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Encinal (Alameda, CA)
