Irvington Preparatory Academy (Indianapolis, IN) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils (Indianapolis, IN), 13-4 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Irvington Preparatory Academy advances its record to 12-4 on the season. The host Eminence (Eminence, IN) to battle the Eels in a Greater Indianapolis match on Friday, May 9. The Eels come into the match with a record of 1-3. Eminence won 15-7 in their recent league match against Tindley (Indianapolis, IN)

The Blue Devils now have a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muncie Burris for a Pioneer match on Saturday, May 10. Indianapolis Shortridge will battle a Owls squad coming off a 11-3 non-league win over Daleville (Daleville, IN). The Owls record now stands at 6-9.
