The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Summit Academy Dragons (Romulus, MI) and the host Inter-City Baptist Chargers (Allen Park, MI), saw Summit Academy's baseball team gain a win over Inter-City Baptist by a tally of 9-0.

The Dragons (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Rose Leadership Academy (Detroit, MI). The enter the non-league battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Rose Leadership Academy was overwhelmed by Lincoln-King Academy (Detroit, MI), 6-4, in a non-league battle.
