New Jersey High School Baseball - Mainland Regional sneaks past Oakcrest
May 8, 2025: Linwood, NJ 08221 The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Mainland Regional Mustangs (Linwood, NJ) and the visiting Oakcrest Falcons (Mays Landing, NJ), saw Mainland Regional's baseball team get by Oakcrest by a tally of 6-5.
The Mustangs (12-10) will now prepare for their battle against Delsea (Franklinville, NJ). The Crusaders enter the non-league battle with a 17-1 record. In their last battle, Delsea was tipped by Cumberland (Seabrook, NJ), 10-9, in a league battle.
Next, the Falcons face the Middle Township Panthers (Cape May Court House, NJ) in a Cape-Atlantic - United battle, on Tuesday, May 13. Oakcrest will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 14-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, NJ).
