The Riverdale Rams baseball squad (Port Byron, IL), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Thursday's league contest with the host Mercer County Golden Eagles (Aledo, IL)

With the triumph, Mercer County moves its record to 11-15 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Orion (Orion, IL) to confront the Chargers in a Three Rivers contest on Monday, May 12. The Chargers come into the contest with a record of 15-12. Orion won 9-4 in their recent non-league contest against Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL)

The Rams now possess a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockridge for a Three Rivers contest on Saturday, May 10. Riverdale will confront a Rockets squad coming off a 9-6 league win over Orion (Orion, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 13-12.
