In Thursday's league battle, the host New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds baseball team scored a close 4-0 victory over the Springfield Tigers.

The Greyhounds (13-1) will now prepare for their battle against Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN). The Chargers enter the Tomahawk battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Minnesota Valley Lutheran held off Sleepy Eye (Sleepy Eye, MN), 8-4, in a league battle.
