Nichols Vikings (Buffalo, NY) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders (Buffalo, NY), 5-0 in a league match.

With the triumph, Nichols advances its record to 8-4 on the season. The Vikings host Depew (Depew, NY) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league match on Friday, May 9. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 8-5. Depew lost 10-3 in their recent league match against Iroquois (Elma, NY)

The Marauders now have a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kennedy for a non-league match on Saturday, May 10. St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute will battle a Bears squad coming off a 13-4 league win over Alden (Alden, NY). The Bears record now stands at 3-2.
