The Northern York Polar Bears (Dillsburg, PA) baseball got by the host West Perry Mustangs (Elliottsburg, PA), 5-4 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Polar Bears now own a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mechanicsburg for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 9. Northern York will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 11-7 league win over Mifflin County (Lewistown, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-7.

With the defeat, West Perry drops to 10-8 on the year. The Mustangs host Biglerville (Biglerville, PA) to clash with the Canners in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 12. The Canners go into the challenge with a record of 7-11. Biglerville lost 13-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Pequea Valley (Kinzers, PA)
