The Schoharie Storm baseball squad (Schoharie, NY), 5-2 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Schenevus Central Dragons (Schenevus, NY)

With the triumph, Schenevus Central moves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Dragons host Cherry Valley-Springfield (Cherry Valley, NY) to confront the Patriots in a Section 4 Tri-Valley contest on Friday, May 9. The Patriots come into the contest with a record of 2-1. Cherry Valley-Springfield won 13-6 in their recent league contest against Milford Central (Milford, NY)

The Storm now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Plain for a Section 2 Western - Southern contest on Friday, May 9. Schoharie will confront a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 6-2 league loss to Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville (St. Johnsville, NY). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 4-8.
