Minnesota High School Baseball - Sleepy Eye wallops St. Mary's
May 8, 2025: Sleepy Eye, MN 56085 The Sleepy Eye Indians baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host St. Mary's Knights to 2 in the Indians league win on Thursday.
The Indians now own a 11-10 record. They take the field next when they host Minnesota Valley Lutheran for a Tomahawk test on Friday, May 9. Sleepy Eye will play a Chargers team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Maple River (Mapleton, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 8-6.
With the defeat, St. Mary's drops to 8-8 on the year. The Knights travel to Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN) to play the Thunderbirds in a Tomahawk test on Friday, May 9. The Thunderbirds go into the test with a record of 3-12. Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Springfield (Springfield, MN)
