New York High School Lacrosse - Columbia bounces Saugerties
May 8, 2025: East Greenbush, NY 12061 Fans at Thursday's non-league test between the Columbia Blue Devils (East Greenbush, NY) and the visiting Saugerties Sawyers (Saugerties, NY), witnessed Columbia's lacrosse squad top Saugerties by a count of 18-2.
The Blue Devils (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Albany Academy for Girls (Albany, NY). The Bears enter the non-league test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Albany Academy for Girls thwarted Cohoes (Cohoes, NY), 14-8, in a league test.
Next, the Sawyers battle the Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 14. Saugerties will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Dragons enter the test with a 4-8 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to Highland (Highland, NY).
