In Thursday's non-league match, the host West Point Pointers softball team scored a nice 24-5 win over the King & Queen Central Royal Tigers.

The Pointers (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Mathews (Mathews, VA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Mathews was routed by Charles City (Charles City, VA), 23-4, in a non-league match.
