Michigan High School Softball - Adams drops to Lake Orion
May 8, 2025: Lake Orion, MI 48360 Lake Orion Dragons (Lake Orion, MI) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Adams Highlanders (Rochester, MI), 16-0 in a league game.
With the triumph, Lake Orion improves its record to 10-7 on the year. The Dragons host Oxford (Oxford, MI) to play the Wildcats in a game on Tuesday, May 13. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 7-9. Oxford won 5-3 in their recent non-league game against DeWitt (DeWitt, MI)
The Highlanders now hold a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Notre Dame Prep for a non-league game on Friday, May 9. Adams will play a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over West Bloomfield (West Bloomfield, MI). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 15-5.
