Ohio High School Softball - Clay bounces Alexander
May 8, 2025: Albany, OH 45710 The Clay Panthers (Portsmouth, OH) softball routed the host Alexander Spartans (Albany, OH), 17-3 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Panthers now sport a 18-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whiteoak for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 14. Clay will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Fairfield (Leesburg, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-11.
With the loss, Alexander moves to 1-13 on the season. The Spartans travel to River Valley (Bidwell, OH) to encounter the Raiders in a Tri-Valley - Ohio outing on Saturday, May 10. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 3-13. River Valley lost 6-3 in their recent non-league outing against Eastern (Reedsville, OH)
