The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL) and the host Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders (Ashton, IL), observed Morrison's softball team prevail over Ashton-Franklin Center by a tally of 19-0.

The Mustangs (14-4) will now prepare for their bout against Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL). The Storm go into the non-league bout with a 13-14 record. In their last bout, Bureau Valley was routed by Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL), 6-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Eastland Cougars (Lanark, IL) in a NUIC South bout, on Friday, May 9. Ashton-Franklin Center will attempt to advance on its 2-26 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 13-1 league win over Polo (Polo, IL).
