The Metamora Redbirds triumphed over the visiting Canton Little Giants softball squad by a count of 14-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Redbirds meet the Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL) in a Mid-Illini challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Metamora will attempt to upgrade on its 20-6 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 6-2 league win over Morton (Morton, IL).
