Pennsylvania High School Softball - Chichester bounces Penn Wood
May 8, 2025: Lansdowne, PA 19050 In Thursday's league match, the visiting Chichester Eagles softball team scored a nice 18-2 win over the Penn Wood Patriots.
The Eagles (9-8) will now prepare for their match against Oxford (Oxford, PA). The Hornets come into the non-league match with a 6-14 record. In their last match, Oxford was routed by Bishop Shanahan (Downingtown, PA), 4-3, in a league match.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Interboro Buccaneers (Prospect Park, PA) in a Delaware Valley match, on Tuesday, May 13. Penn Wood will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Buccaneers come into the match with a 15-2 record after their 12-2 league win over Chichester (Boothwyn, PA).
