New York High School Softball - Lake Shore edges Depew
May 8, 2025: Angola, NY 14006 In Thursday's non-league match, the host Lake Shore Eagles softball team scored a tight 2-0 win over the Depew Wildcats.
The Eagles (9-4) will now prepare for their match against Salamanca (Salamanca, NY). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Salamanca by Fredonia (Fredonia, NY), 6-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Pioneer Panthers (Yorkshire, NY) in a non-league match, on Friday, May 9. Depew will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 1-4 record after their 13-1 league loss to Lake Shore (Angola, NY).
