Kentucky High School Softball - Montgomery County bounces George Rogers Clark
May 8, 2025: Mt. Sterling, KY 40353 The Montgomery County Indians softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting George Rogers Clark Cardinals to 6 in the Indians league win on Thursday.
The Indians now possess a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin County for a non-league battle on Friday, May 9. Montgomery County will confront a Flyers team coming off a 8-2 league loss to Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY). The Flyers record now stands at 16-7.
With the loss, George Rogers Clark moves to 21-10 on the season. The Cardinals host Henry Clay (Lexington, KY) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league battle on Friday, May 9. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a record of 9-14. Henry Clay lost 15-0 in their recent league battle against Scott County (Georgetown, KY)
