The Herron Achaeans overwhelmed the visiting Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars softball squad by a count of 10-4 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Achaeans meet the Waldron Mohawks (Waldron, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Herron will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Mohawks go into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 16-0 non-league loss to Triton Central (Fairland, IN).

The Cougars (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Eminence (Eminence, IN). The Eels go into the non-league challenge with a 8-5 record.
