Triton Mustangs (Runnemede, NJ) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Highland Regional Tartans (Blackwood, NJ), 22-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Triton upgrades its record to 13-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Cinnaminson (Cinnaminson, NJ) to play the Pirates in a non-league game on Friday, May 9. The Pirates enter the game with a record of 10-7. Cinnaminson lost 11-2 in their recent non-league game against Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ)

The Tartans now own a 2-14 record. They play next when they host Gateway Regional for a non-league game on Saturday, May 10. Highland Regional will play a Gators squad coming off a 19-1 non-league loss to Collingswood (Collingswood, NJ). The Gators record now stands at 2-14.
