The Salt Fork Storm softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Seeger Patriots to 1 in the Storm non-league win on Thursday.

The Storm now possess a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin for a Vermilion Valley battle on Friday, May 9. Salt Fork will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 9-7 league loss to Watseka (Watseka, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 13-13.

With the loss, Seeger moves to 6-14 on the season. The Patriots host Parke Heritage (Rockville, IN) to confront the Wolves in a Wabash River battle on Saturday, May 10. The Wolves come into the battle with a record of 6-11. Parke Heritage lost 8-4 in their recent league battle against South Vermillion (Clinton, IN)
