Ohio High School Softball - Wauseon sneaks past Wayne Trace
May 8, 2025: Wauseon, OH 43567 The Wauseon Indians (Wauseon, OH) softball nipped the visiting Wayne Trace Raiders (Haviland, OH), 6-5 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Indians now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northview for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 13. Wauseon will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-7.
With the loss, Wayne Trace moves to 4-11 on the season. The Raiders travel to Lincolnview (Van Wert, OH) to encounter the Lancers in a non-league outing on Friday, May 9. The Lancers come into the outing with a record of 18-3. Lincolnview won 8-0 in their recent league outing against Jefferson (Delphos, OH)
