In Friday's league game, the host Wellsboro Hornets baseball team scored a nice 17-2 win over the Wyalusing Valley Rams.

The Hornets (14-2) will now prepare for their game against Williamson (Tioga, PA). The Warriors go into the Northern Tier - Western game with a 2-13 record.

Next, the Rams play the Tunkhannock Tigers (Tunkhannock, PA) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 11. Wyalusing Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 1-15 record after their 19-8 league loss to Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA).
