In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Somerville Pioneers baseball team scored a close 7-1 win over the Ridge Red Devil.

The Pioneers (7-3) will now prepare for their game against Hunterdon Central (Flemington, NJ). The Red Devils go into the non-league game with a 9-3 record. In their last game, Hunterdon Central was overwhelmed by Bridgewater-Raritan (Bridgewater, NJ), 4-3, in a non-league game.
