Ohio High School Softball - Ridgemont held off by Northeastern

The Northeastern Jets got by the visiting Ridgemont Golden Gophers softball squad by a count of 11-10 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Jets meet the Urbana Hillclimbers (Urbana, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 12. Northeastern will attempt to upgrade on its 12-12 season record. The Hillclimbers go into the challenge with a 17-6 record after their 14-0 league win over Shawnee (Springfield, OH).

The Golden Gophers (10-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Arcadia (Arcadia, OH). The Redskins go into the non-league challenge with a 10-10 record. In their last challenge, Arcadia was nudged by Patrick Henry (Hamler, OH), 18-8, in a non-league challenge.
