Carolina Day Wildcats (Asheville, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Statesville Christian Lions (Statesville, NC), 9-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Carolina Day upgrades its record to 16-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Burlington Christian Academy (Burlington, NC) to battle the Royals in a non-league test on Thursday, May 11. The Royals come into the test with a record of 10-4. Burlington Christian Academy won 14-4 in their recent non-league test against Berean Baptist Academy (Fayetteville, NC)

With the defeat, Statesville Christian falls to 3-13 on the season.
