The Perquimans Pirates baseball team (Hertford, NC), was overwhelmed 5-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the host Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC)

The Bears now hold a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chatham Charter for a non-league outing on Friday, May 12. Chatham Central will confront a Knights team coming off a 20-0 non-league win over Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC). The Knights record now stands at 16-1.
