Connecticut High School Baseball - New Milford can't hold off Northwestern Regional
May 9, 2023: Winsted, CT 06098 The Northwestern Regional Highlanders baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting New Milford Green Wave to 2 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Highlanders (12-3) will now prepare for their match against Thomaston (Thomaston, CT). The Bears go into the Berkshire match with a 2-15 record. In their last match, Thomaston tipped Terryville (Terryville, CT), 7-5, in a league match.
The Green Wave (7-10) will now prepare for their match against Newtown (Newtown, CT). The Nighthawks go into the Southwest - Colonial match with a 10-7 record. In their last match, Newtown tipped Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT), 9-0, in a league match.
