Maine High School Lacrosse - Thornton Academy drops to Kennebunk
May 9, 2023: Kennebunk, ME 04043 Kennebunk Rams (Kennebunk, ME) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME), 18-3 in a league test.
The Rams now have a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Massabesic for a Class A South test on Friday, May 12. Kennebunk will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 15-10 non-league loss to Windham (Windham, ME). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-7.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) in a non-league test, on Thursday, May 11. Thornton Academy will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 6-1 record after their 15-1 non-league win over Westbrook (Westbrook, ME).
