May 9, 2023: Waynesboro, VA 22980 The Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) softball triumphed over the host Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), 16-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Bison now sport a 19-1 record. They take the field next when they host Staunton for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 12. Buffalo Gap will face a Storm squad coming off a 18-0 non-league loss to Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Storm record now stands at 1-14.
With the loss, Waynesboro falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Little giants travel to Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA) to face the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 12. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 4-11. Fort Defiance lost 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA)
