Ohio High School Lacrosse - Westlake held off by Holy Name
May 9, 2023: Westlake, OH 44145 Holy Name Green Wave (Parma Heights, OH) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host Westlake Demons (Westlake, OH), 4-3 in a league battle.
The Green Wave now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they host Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 13. Holy Name will clash with a Royals squad coming off a 9-8 league win over Rocky River (Rocky River, OH). The Royals record now stands at 7-11.
In their next game, the Demons clash with the Padua Franciscan Bruins (Parma, OH) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 11. Westlake will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record. The Bruins come into the battle with a 11-3 record after their 14-5 non-league win over Bay (Bay Village, OH).
