May 9, 2023: Medford, OR 97504 The North Medford Black Tornado the visiting South Medford Panthers softball squad by a count of 7-4 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Black Tornado (15-8) will now prepare for their battle against Roseburg (Roseburg, OR). The Indians go into the 6A Southwest battle with a 9-12 record. In their last battle, Roseburg nudged Willamette (Eugene, OR), 11-0, in a non-league battle.
The Panthers now sport a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Willamette for a 5A Midwestern battle on Saturday, May 13. South Medford will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Roseburg (Roseburg, OR). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-10.
