California High School Softball - Rancho Bernardo bounces Torrey Pines
May 9, 2023: San Diego, CA 92128 Rancho Bernardo Broncos (San Diego, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA), 6-0 in a league challenge.
The Broncos now sport a 21-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Del Norte for a Coastal North County challenge on Thursday, May 11. Rancho Bernardo will face a Nighthawks squad coming off a 11-1 league win over San Marcos (San Marcos, CA). The Nighthawks record now stands at 16-4.
With the loss, Torrey Pines falls to 19-6 on the campaign. The Falcons host Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA) to face the Longhorns in a Coastal North County challenge on Thursday, May 11. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a record of 10-13. Rancho Buena Vista lost 12-1 in their recent league challenge against Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA)

(DARTMOUTH) WAS GIVEN THE DAY OFF IN THE CIRCLE BUT SHE WENT 2-3 AT THE PLATE TO LEAD THE FALCON OFFENSE. FRESHMEN RILEY CULLIVAN WENT 1-2 WITH A WALK AND HER TWIN SISTER FRESHMEN REAGAN CULLIVAN ALSO WENT 1-2 FOR TORREY PINES WHO DROPPED TO (19-6 OVERALL) AND (5-4) IN LEAGUE PLAY WITH THE LOSS. RANCHO BERNARDO IMPROVES TO (21-4) OVERALL AND (9-0) IN THE NORTH COUNTY COASTAL LEAGUE. THE FALCONS WILL CLOSE OUT THE REGULAR SEASON ON THURSDAY MAY 11TH AT HOME ON THEIR SENIOR DAY VS RANCHO BUENA VISTA AT 3:30 PM AT FALCON FIELD.
