Virginia High School Soccer - West Springfield held off by South County
May 9, 2024: Springfield, VA 22152 The South County Stallions held off the host West Springfield Spartans soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Thursday's league match.
The Stallions now sport a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Braddock for a Patriot match on Monday, May 13. South County will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 3-1 league win over South County (Lorton, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, West Springfield drops to 2-10 on the season.
