The Houlton Shiretowners routed the visiting Caribou Vikings softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Shiretowners (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Calais (Calais, ME). The Blue Devils go into the Class C North battle with a 3-7 record.

The Vikings now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they host John Bapst Memorial for a Class B North battle on Saturday, May 11. Caribou will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 14-3 league loss to Old Town (Old Town, ME). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-6.
