The New Castle Hurricanes softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Central Valley Warriors to 15 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, New Castle moves its record to 7-11 on the year. The Hurricanes travel to Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA) to clash with the Greyhounds in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 14. The Greyhounds come into the game with a record of 10-2.
